Hi! I'm Meredith Toering, Certified Full Spectrum Doula (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Adoption, & Grief/Trauma/Loss), Lactation Consultant, and Sleep Training Specialist.
I usually say I accidentally fell into the field of birth work, but I guess that's not totally true. After spending a decade abroad running a foster home/cardiac surgery program for babies with complex congenital heart defects and maternal/fetal health programs for at-risk indigenous families, I unexpectedly found myself stuck in New York City in early 2020, waiting out this little bug called "Covid-19" that was shutting borders all around the world...
